About Zena

Zena Armella

AI

Armella International is a Florida based design consultant partner accepting residential engagement throughout the world. Zena is active in Miami Women's Business Owners Association. She considers herself predominantly self-taught regarding interior design. Her love for reading makes her an unique savvy persona, "our spaces are not  ostentatious. Whether room trends lean toward modern or traditional, the interior should look as though it were always there.  Well-planned interiors never look heavy-handed or deliberated."

Zena has always had a flair for the dramatic and a passion for all that is beautiful—particularly interior spaces. She launched AI following a much acclaimed career in sales management as director of marketing for international lingerie brands (exclusive representations, wholesale-retail) & the real estate industries. During her 10 years as principal in her own firm she has transformed South Beach condominiums (The Jade, The Brompton, The Sheridan & The Penn Plaza), vacation homes on Miami Beach & North Miami (Calming Retreat, Revival Retreat, Deserving Retreat, etc.), rehab's construction for growing families, and many low cost projects, a plus, for single home commuters. Her impressive background is put in practice when interacting with her clientele.

Zena Armella graduated from Florida International University, two bachelor degrees: Political Sciences & International Relations with distinction in comparative politics and mass target communications. Then, University of Miami, KMC, Photography and Jounalism which accounts, at least in part, for her wonderful way with people and her fabulous listening and multi-cultural skills. Her approach to the design process is to determine her client's vision for their home and translate that into a reality integrating the client's favorite things with thoughtfully chosen acquisitions. Lately, she achieved her MA in Public Administration & Marketing at Nova Southeastern University.

Zena is member of: The Association for Project Management, Interior Design, Interiors, AIIM ECM (Enterprise Content Management) Network, IIDA, Business Development Institute (BDI), International Real Estate Investment, Luxury Miami Real Estate Network, Real Estate Investor.com, Real Estate Open Networkers, eMarketing Association Network...

Her residential portfolio includes single-family homes and multi-unit developments such as townhomes, condominiums, apartment buildings, boutiques and RMUs. As well, we’ve performed our magic on the interiors and exteriors of many privately-owned new homes, renovation projects and vacation rentals.
